Arts Marketing Festival

A new kind of event for arts marketers and audience development professionals

Call For Speakers

We’re inviting proposals from colleagues in the sector to share their experience and learning at the festival.

We would like to hear from you if you work in a marketing / communications role or similar, in an arts organisation. We are particularly interested in hearing from people based outside London.

Please submit your proposals by Wednesday 23 September, 5pm

There are three different session types that we are inviting proposals for:

CASE STUDIES

These will focus on a project or a campaign that you have worked on. The aim is to share experiences and learning, peer to peer. These sessions will follow the structure of 30 mins talk followed by 10 mins questions. They may be comprised of two speakers each taking 15 mins. But we are open to your suggestions – we want the format to best convey the learning. The platform will be Webex or Zoom.

IN CONVERSATION WITH…

These will be audio interviews with people who would like to share either their own work or their observations – for example identifying trends. These would be 10-20 mins in length and the platform would be SoundCloud or similar.

A VIRTUAL TOUR

If you would like to take our festival goers on a tour of your venue, building or grounds, then we would like to hear from you. Especially if you are located outside London. Perhaps there’s a great story to be told about your building; perhaps there’s an exhibition or installation that no-one has seen, or perhaps a distanced rehearsal that you’d like to share. The format for this could be Instagram Live or Facebook Live and would last up to 30 mins.

Particularly for the first two session types we are looking for proposals that relate to following topics:

  • EDI and social justice
  • Reopening and recovery
  • Climate crisis
  • Comms in a crisis
  • Digital (campaigns / trends / insight)
  • Audiences (data / insight / behaviour)
  • Managing and influencing change
  • Wellbeing

This event is for Arts Marketers (or similar) at any stage in their career, and so if this is you and you would like to share your experience, we would love to hear from you.
